OPEN RECORDS INFORMATION
Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know law grants citizens the right to access records and information from government agencies such as school districts. According to Policy #801 Public Records, if you wish to access a record of the Pennridge School District, please do so by using this Open Records Request Form. (Please note, we will not respond to any anonymous requests for records). After you complete the form, you can submit the form to the district’s Open Records Officer (contact information below) in person, by US mail, by fax, or by e-mail.
Please check that your request is for a specific record or document, and not a question or inquiry. Also, please be advised, TRANSCRIPT/RECORD requests SHOULD NOT be submitted through the Office of Open Records. For a copy of your transcript or diploma, please contact the Pennridge High School Guidance Department at 215-453-6944 or email sfronstin@pennridge.org.
After you file a request, the law specifies that the district has five business days from the date the district receives the request (Office hours 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday in accordance with our district calendar) to respond to your request. Should the district deny your request, you have the right to appeal the decision to the state Office of Open Records.
