Technology at Pennridge School District
The world is rapidly changing and students must be educated to adapt, respond and flourish in this dynamic environment. All appropriate tools should be utilized to advance student learning and to achieve excellence in education. The Technology Department at Pennridge School District is committed to providing technical and administrative support necessary to make that goal a reality. Our staff is responsible for providing a reliable network for PSD users and technical assistance in the areas of hardware repair, network administration and software support. Our duties include facilitating the High School 1:1 program, monitoring and maintaining both physical and virtual servers, maintaining all computing devices and providing hands on support for any issue teachers have with technology. We currently maintain and support over 8,000 devices district wide including laptops, desktops, and iPads. As technology becomes more and more integrated into the classroom everyday, it is integral that the network and devices they are so dependent on are always up, always available.
