Annual Fundraiser News – Ducks for the 1st turn-in day of South’s Fundraiser were delivered to CP1 this morning. Mr. Donaldson will be looking for ducks to feed, so be sure to wear your duck to earn a treat! Our last turn-in day will be next Tuesday, so you still have time to collect orders and earn prizes! There are lots of incentives this year including the whole duck collection, entrance to BINGO party, and a trip to Top Golf during the school day! If you have any questions or need help registering and setting up your profile on the Clubs Choice Fundraising website, please see Mrs. Hippauf in Room 104 during 11th period!
Music Dept. News -
• Band – There will be symphonic band rehearsal today during CP11 in room #111.
• Orchestra – 6th grade orchestra meets today during CP11 in room #300. See you then!Field Hockey – The field hockey team is reminded that there is no field hockey today. Go home at normal time.
LipDub – All dubbers should report to their CP11 homeroom. We will call you down for rehearsal when we are ready for you. Also, no independent studies today. Go to your normal PM homeroom.
Fall Dance – Next Friday, October 11th is our first dance. Student Council will be selling tickets starting next Monday, October 7th. Tickets will be sold in the gym lobby during PM homeroom and cost $5.00. The dance is from 6:00-8 :00PM in the gym. There will be prizes for the best 70s, 80s, and 90s inspired outfits as well as prizes for the best group. We will also have contests and competitions throughout the dance. Tickets will be available all next week. No tickets will be sold at the door. You must have cash to buy a ticket. We do not take checks.

Spirit Day – Hey South! Tomorrow is our first spirit day for October. The spirit is “green and white” so deck yourself out in green and white since Wednesday is also our LipDub. Winners from last week and gift card winners will be announced later today.
Field Hockey – The field hockey team improved their record to 2-0-1 yesterday with a win against Pennbrook. Pennbrook struck first scoring the first goal, but South rallied hard in quarters 2 and 4 scoring a goal in each. Ava Jenkins was the MVP of the game scoring both goals for South. Ellie Forest assisted on the first, and the second was off a corner hit from Marley Ambruch. The ref even said after the second goal, “I have seen high school players that can’t even score like that.” Olivia Cecero and Aralyn Souder played phenomenal high defense while Harper Nyce and Alaina Hamman held things off down low. Goalie Savannah Maloney had 3 saves in the game. Izzy Rice, Marley Ambruch, and Reagan Hand assisted in the midfield while Evaleigh Homa, Mikayla Draper, and Ellie Forest helped on low attack. Great job team on a well-deserved win.
Annual Fundraiser News – Today is our first turn-in day for South’s fundraiser! All orders that are made by midnight tonight, will count towards our first turn-in day and ducks will be distributed tomorrow morning to your CP1 teacher. The 2nd turn-in day will be next Tuesday. Keep the orders coming and start wearing your ducks. Mr. Donaldson will feed any ducks he comes across.
Wellness Dept. – All Mr. Bosler and Mrs. Welsh’s classes should report to the gym today.

• 6th Grade Choir – The 6th grade choir will NOT meet today. See you next week.

If you need help registering and setting up your profile on the Clubs Choice Fundraising website, please see Mrs. Hippauf in Room 104 during 11th period! Please note that a lot of students registered but didn’t complete the process of sending emails or texts. Please log back in and complete the process. Spirit Day News – Today is Wednesday and that means SPIRIT DAY! Today’s spirit is denim.
Soccer – Unfortunately, the South soccer team lost to Penndale yesterday by a score of 8-0. Some of our game highlights were:
• Oliver Moyer – 6 throw-ins, 2 goal kicks, and some great runs
• Connor Phy – 4 goal kicks and great defense
• David Sobolak – 13 saves in goal and great runs with the ball
• Mason Trafidlo and Lucy Fitzgerald both had shots on goal
• Our defenders were Oliver Moyer, Connor Phy, Audion, Boa, and Kevin, who fought hard and didn’t give up on the ball.
• Our midfielders were Joe Souder, Tiller Catalano, Rylee Wong, Boa, Austin Padfield, and David Sobolak, who made runs up the field.
• Our strikers were Mason Trafidlo, Lucy Fitzgerald, Austin Padfield, and Rylee Wong, who crossed and had shots on goal.From Mrs. Hippauf – Our annual fundraiser is in full swing! Students who registered and sent 12 emails or texts by midnight last night have earned the Roboclip! These will be delivered to your 1st period teacher this morning. Participation in the fundraiser is super easy! Reach out to your family and friends through email, text, and social media and ask them to support your efforts to earn the ducks and a field trip to Top Golf in King of Prussia! They can purchase delicious treats and over 500 gift items! Our first turn-in day is Tuesday, October 1st.

South Sports –
• Soccer – Last Friday, the South soccer team claimed victory over Pennfield with a score of 2-1. Our scorers were: Austin Padfield with an assist from Mason Trafidlo, and David Sobolak with an assist from Oliver Moyer. The defenders were Connor Phy, Oliver Moyer, Kevin Espenyosa, Audion Ramen, and Bao Nguyen. Our midfielders were Tiller Catalano, Anderson Acosta, Lucy Fitzgerald, and Joe Souder. Our strikers were David Sobolak, Autin Padfield, Rylee Wong, and Mason Trafidlo. Our goalies were David Sobolak and Joe Souder.

• Field Hockey – Yesterday, the field hockey team had a thrilling victory with a 5-0 shutout of Dock despite having only 1 sub. Marley Ambruch and Izzy Rice each added 2 goals, while Ellie Forest added 1. Assisting in midfield and on attack were Raegan Hand, Cait Lightcap, Mikayla Draper, Evaleigh Homa and Ava Jenkins. The team kept the ball entirely in the offensive areas for both the 1st and 4th quarters. Playing stellar defense for South was Alain Hamman, Liv Cecero, and Aralyn Souder. Having their first ever save of the game was goalie, Savanna Maloney. Thank you to all our spectators yesterday!

• Thanks go out to everyone who participated in our red, white and blue spirit day yesterday. The winners from yesterday will be announced this afternoon. Sorry for the change.

LipDub – All Lipdub dubbers should receive a pass from their first period teacher this morning for a mandatory rehearsal during CP11 today. Dubbers should report to the cafeteria at 2:15PM to go over important Lipdub information and for practice. Please bring your belongings to the cafeteria with you. You will be dismissed from the cafeteria.
