Bus Laws and Guidelines

  • Please drive safely and obey the Pennsylvania School Bus Stopping Laws. We want to insure the safety of all our students! View Overview of PA Bus Stopping Laws
  • Please note that afternoon drop-off times may vary due to traffic, weather, ridership, and other circumstances.
  • PA State law requires that School Bus Evacuation Drills to be held twice a year to educate students in the event of an actual emergency. We hold ours at the beginning of the school year and in March and are performed on school grounds. 
  • In the event of a two-hour delay, please have your student at their stop two (2) hours later than their normal schedule.

Do you have a question or concern?

  • Please provide as many facts as possible within your email to enable the staff to reply thoroughly. During the schools start up time EMAIL is the best line of communication.  Please allow a few days for the staff to review and respond to your request BEFORE you send another email or call the office. transport@pennridge.org 
  • Please call 215-453-2725 between 5:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on days when school is in session.  Should you reach an answering machine, please leave a detailed message including your child's name; someone will return your call as soon as possible. Investigations need as many facts as possible to be supplied in this initial email or phone call to enable us to have information together when we return your email or phone call.
