Please Note: Registration for your child is not considered complete until you have received an email from the district confirming that we have received all the required documents necessary to complete your child's registration. You will then be contacted by the school with your child's start date.

Important Change in Definition of “Compulsory School Age”

Effective in 2020-2021, all children from the age of six (6) through the age of eighteen (18) must comply with compulsory school attendance requirements. To meet these requirements, parents must ensure that their child between the ages of 6 and 18 is attending or participating in one of the following: a public elementary, middle, or high school; a public charter or cyber-charter school; a private licensed academic or private religious school; home tutoring by a certified teacher; or an approved program of home schooling. Children may be excused from compulsory attendance for documented medical or other compelling reasons as outlined in the District attendance policy and procedures.

Change of Address?

If you are moving within the Pennridge School District and need to change your child's address, please do the following:

Go to the school your child is currently attending and work with the staff to provide the documentation that is required, including a Change of Address Form. *Please note - If you have multiple children, you may complete this process for all children at one building.
You will need to provide the district with three forms of current proof of residency for your new address. Click for more information regarding acceptable forms of proof of residency.

Once this form and proof of residency has been received, the building will process your request through the system. A copy of this paperwork will be sent to the Transportation Department so your child's bus can be re-routed.

Someone from the Transportation Department will contact you directly with the new bus information. Please allow at least two business days for the change to take effect. PLEASE DO NOT place your child on a new bus until you have heard from the Transportation Department.

Lost Your Property Deed?

What if I can not locate a copy of my property deed? Is there another document that I can provide or how can I obtain one?

If you are unable to locate a copy of your property deed you will need to contact the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office at the Bucks County Court House in Doylestown to obtain one. DO NOT contact your mortgage company for this document, it must be obtained through the Recorder of Deeds Office OR online through Landex.com. A current mortgage statement can be used in place of the property deed for your primary proof of residency.

What do I do if I am in the process of buying or building a house in the Pennridge School District?

Any nonresident student who wishes to register and will become a resident student within the first two (2) months of school, can be registered under our tuition waiver policy. (Policy 202) Please note: The tuition waiver policy can only be utilized if you are making settlement after the first day of school and prior to the 60th day of school. If you are making settlement prior to the first day of school, you must wait to register at that time.

Will My Child Receive Busing?

Will my child receive busing?

Transportation is provided for all children in grades 1-12 who live outside a certain radius of their assigned school. The guidelines are as follows:

Elementary -- one-mile radius and above
Middle School -- 1.5-mile radius and above
High School -- 1.5-mile radius and above

Children who live within these distances are considered walkers and are not eligible for busing. Transportation is provided for AM kindergarten students to school and PM kindergarten students home from school.

Can I Choose Which School My Child Attends?

Do my children need to have a physical or dental examination to register?

No, the required examinations are not needed at the time of registration. Physical and dental examinations must be completed by September 30 of the current school year. State mandates require exams during the following grade levels:

Physical examinations are required at original entry (grade K or 1), grade 6, and grade 11.
Dental Examinations are required at original entry (grade K or 1), grade 3, and grade 7.
