Safety and Security

The department is comprised of both armed and unarmed security personnel who are highly trained in crisis prevention, first aid, and the National Association of School Resource Officer (NASRO) training program. Team members provide daily patrols of school buildings and campuses and provide security coverage at school events and activities. They work closely with and complement five local police departments that serve the communities making up the Pennridge School District, coordinating response efforts and investigations as needed. Pennridge Security and local police departments also conduct joint emergency drills to ensure preparedness, coordination, and a rapid, effective response to potential incidents.
