Class Offerings
Here you will find the different type of classes that we offer for your water/swimming educational needs. We offer a variety of classes for all ages and levels of experience.
You will find information about Group Lessons and Private Lessons (when available)
Beginner 1 Level: Recommended Ages 3-6 Max 5 per class
This level is for brand new or still learning young swimmers. They will learn the rules of the pool, how to safely enter and exit the pool as well as the beginning skills of swimming-flutter kicking, front crawl arms, and floating on their stomach and back. They will learn to put their face and head fully underwater and blow bubbles and retrieve objects underwater. Goggles are not encouraged for this level to try and get swimmers accustomed to opening their eyes.
**New**-Beginner 2 Level: Recommended Ages 7-10 Max 5 per class
This level is for those who are still learning to be comfortable in the water, but are a little older than the other Beginner swimmers on the steps. This level will learn the same skills as Beginner 1, but off the steps and sitting on the side of the pool like the Intermediate level. They will learn the rules of the pool, how to safely enter and exit the pool and learn the basic skills of swimming: kicking, floating, front crawl and submerging.
Intermediate Level: Recommended Ages: 5-9 Max 5 per class
This is for a swimmer that is more comfortable in the water and will begin to strengthen their skills they learned in the beginner level. They will be learning the full front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke as well as floating and treading. They will work their way to swimming a ½ lap of the pool and back with the instructor to assist. Goggles would be used for this level to help swimmers see where they are going as they swim and know their surroundings.
Advanced Level: Recommended Ages: 8-14 Max 5 per class
This is for the swimmer who is very comfortable in the pool and swimming unassisted. They will continue to grow their skills to swim a full length of the pool freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and learn side stroke and butterfly. They will also be floating and treading longer and learning some basic water safety skills. This is a great level to see if your child would be able to join the swim team.
Each 6 week session is $75 per child.
