Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Matthew Smith
Dear Guth Community,
As we begin the 2021-2022 school year, we look forward to a return to many of the traditions that have made school special for our students and families. This year is sure to have challenges as well, and I know our strong and supportive school community can overcome all we will face through communication, patience, hard work, and kindness. Our school community has stayed strong and positive throughout these difficult times. I am sure we will stay united in or common goal--to provide a positive, encouraging, and kind community in which our students (your children) will grow and learn. I wanted to share my goals for the school year with all of you. Here they are:
- The principal, faculty and staff will re-establish traditional events for students and families throughout the school year.
- The principal, faculty, and staff will work to maintain the positive relationship that has been built with the Guth Community through positive communication and interaction.
- The principal, faculty, and staff will model perseverance and kindness for our students and community.
- The principal, faculty, and staff will re-establish practices to support student learning goals and growth in reading, language arts, and math.
By working together, I know we can overcome any challenge. Thank you for help and support toward these goals and all we do at Guth Elementary. If there's anything we can do for you or your child, please contact us.
