Registration open for
pennridge community aquatics program
The Pennridge School District is accepting registrations for the Spring 2011 Session of its community aquatics program.
The nine-week Spring 2011 Ssession begins March 21 and runs through May 21. Class offerings include Lap Swimming and Aqua Aerobics for adults, and swimming and diving lessons for youngsters. New classes for the Spring 2011 Session include a Stroke and turn Clinic, American Red Cross Lifeguarding and CPR Certification Classes, and Community Recreational Swim Time.

Lap Swimming and Aqua Aerobics classes are offered Monday, Wednesday or Friday, from 8:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. The fee is $115.
Swimming lessons for youngsters ages 3 to 15 are offered Tuesday or Thursday evenings, or Saturday mornings. Each 45-minute session is based on skill level (beginner, intermediate and advanced). The fee is $90.
Diving lessons for youngsters ages 6 to 15 are available on Saturday mornings. The fee is $90.
All classes are taught by instructors who are certified by the American Red Cross.
Located adjacent to the Natatorium at the high school, the PHS Fitness Center features all new equipment. It will be open Monday through Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The fee for a nine-week session membership, which includes unlimited visits, is $40.
