Teaching Professionals can download the Pennsylvania Standard Teaching Application using the PA Department of Education's website, www.pde.state.pa.us. (These links will take you to different websites. Hit "Back" to return to this website). However, it is recommended that all applicants register on the PAREAP on-line application system, www.pareap.net. The Pennridge School District is no longer accepting unsolicited paper applications. To register with them, visit www.pareap.net, click on "Employment Opportunities" in the left margin, click on JOIN REAP, and follow the instructions. All secondary applicants MUST apply through PAREAP. You should indicate your interest by clicking on the interest button on any of our REAP postings. Your REAP application can be viewed on-line. Additional documentation, i.e. Certification, clearances, transcripts and three letters of reference will be required if selected for a first-round interview.

Elementary applicants should not submit an application until an elementary position becomes available and is posted on our website. A letter of interest, stating availability on PAREAP, with current resume, will be needed at that time. Your REAP application can be viewed on-line. Additional documentation, i.e. Certification, clearances, transcripts and three letters of reference will be required if selected for a first-round interview.

We acknowledge receipt of initial information submitted for posted positions as soon as possible.

***Please Note that all positions within the District require that individuals posses current (within one (1) year) Pennsylvania Child Abuse (Act 151) and Police Background Check (Act 34) clearances. Forms are avalailable at the Pennridge District Office. You can also find more information regarding these clearances ONLINE.

** Beginning April 1, 2007, Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting clearance will also be required. Please visit the website www.pa.cogentid.com for details. **

Learning Support Teacher

Other information/qualifications:
Write, implement and monitor progress of IEPs, including behavioral goals, for elementary school students with learning and/or emotional disabilities. Current PA Special Education certification required; Special Education and Elementary certifications are preferred.   Current Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances are required. E.O.E.

Spanish Teacher

This is an itinerant position among all 3 middle schools, teaching Level I and Conversational level classes in Spanish.   Current PA Spanish certification required, as well as, current Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances. E.O.E.

All responsibilities and duties of a 7th grade team teacher of English and Social Studies, including co-teaching. This position is available for the 2008-2009 school year.  Current PA Mid-Level English and Mid-Level Social Studies certifications are required, as well as, current Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances. This position will run from January 5, 2009 through April 7, 2009. Write, implement and monitor progress of IEPs, including behavioral goals, for high school school students with learning and/or emotional disabilities. This position includes co-teaching in principles of science, earth and space science and environmental science. Current PA Special Education certification required; Special Education with Science content area certification is preferred.   Current Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances are required. E.O.E.

5th Grade Teacher

This position will work with high school Tech Academy students.  Responsibilities include co-planning and co-teaching with content area teachers; and individual and group assessment and instruction.   Current PA Reading Specialist K-12 certification required, as well as, current Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances. 5th Grade Teacher

This long-term substitute position is available for the first semester of the 2008-2009 school year and carries all responsibilities of a 5th grade teacher.  Current PA Elementary certification required, as well as, current Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances. E.O.E.
