Auxiliary/Support Personnel

Thank you for your interest in the Pennridge School District.  A school district can't run smoothly with teachers alone.  It takes skilled support employees to get them to school, fix them lunch, and keep the schools clean and well-maintained.

The PSD Human Resources Office, located in the District Education Center within Pennridge High School, handles applications for all personnel positions. Direct specific questions regarding positions posted to: PSD Human Resources

***Please Note that all positions within the District require that individuals posses current (within one (1) year) Pennsylvania Child Abuse (Act 151) and Police Background Check (Act 34) clearances. Forms available at the Pennridge District Office or they can be obtained ONLINE.

Drive students in school bus.  Morning and afterrnoons, student school days, 5 and 6 hours per day, approximately 184 per year.  Free training provided.  Valid PA driver's license required, as well as current Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances. E.O.E.

Other information/qualifications:
This student clerk position is a part-time, year-round position.  High school or college students will have a flexible schedule, Monday-Friday, 6-10 hours per week, with 10-20 hours per week during the summer months. Responsibilities include filing, data entry, copying and typing.  Computer skills including MS Windows and Word are required.  Must interact well with adults and be dependable. E.O.E.

This is a full-time, 10 1/2 month position.  Responsibilities include monitoring hallways, parking lots and other areas of the high school campus.  Work with school administration to make sure campus is secure; also work in cooperation with local police departments.  Hours need to be flexible.  A complete job description is available through the Dept. of Human Resources.  Current PA Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances are required.  E.O.E.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Other information/qualifications:
This is a part-time, (20-25 hours per week), 10-month position.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Monitor athletic injuries and develop injury prevention programs.  Maintain injury/illness records of athletes and help with the supervision of student athletic trainers. Provide medical coverage for home games, practices and major invitational/tournaments. Some local travel is required. ATC is responsible to maintain effective communication with head athletic trainer, team physicians, EMT, coaches, athletes, parents and administrators. Salary $10,000. Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training is required, along with NATA-BOC and CPR?AED certifications. Current PA Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances are required.  E.O.E.

Long-term Substitute

Other information/qualifications:
Certified lifeguard to fill a long-term substitute (temporary) position.  Responsibilities of guarding the pool while students and swimmers are swimming during the school day.  Assist the high school and elementary Phys. Ed. teachers with supervision in the pool and locker room areas.  Hours are 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.  A complete job description is available through the Dept. of Human Resources.  High school diploma is rquired, along with current certifications in CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Training. Current PA Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances are also required.  E.O.E.

Special Assignment Teaching Assistant

Full-time position (7 hours per day), to assist student with meeting academic and/or behavioral goals.  Assist student with any supports/modifications needed to access facilities and curriculum, including physical support and adapting teaching materials.  Current Act 34, 151 and Act 114 FBI clearances are required.
