Registration Information

WELCOME TO THE PENNRIDGE SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Pennridge School District student registration office will open enrollment for grades K-12 beginning May 1, 2008.  If you are new to the area or planning on transferring from a private school and wish to register your child/children into our schools for the 2008/2009 school yr., please contact the Student Registration Office at (215) 453-2793.  A brief phone interview will be taken and a packet will be mailed to you for completion.  Upon completion of the packet you must contact the registration office again to schedule an appointment.  Please note that all registration is by appointment only, no walk-ins.  In order to guarantee bus information for the start of school registration must be completed no later than August 8, 2005, first day of school September 2, 2008.

The following items are required for registration to be considered complete:

>>Original verification of birth in the form of the child’s state issued birth certificate, or valid passport.  A hospital certificate is not acceptable this is considered a souvenir.  Photocopies of state issued birth certificates are also not acceptable.

>>Complete immunization records.  The following immunization records are required for all original entries:  Four basic doses of Diphtheria, Pertusis (whooping cough), and Tetanus (DTP), (with the 4th dose administered on or after the child’s fourth birthday). Three doses of Oral Polio (OPV), Three doses of Hepatitis B, Two doses of Measles (Rubeola), German Measles (Rubella), and Mumps (MMR) usually given as one vaccine with second dose administered at your child’s five year physical.  One dose of Varivax (Varicella/chicken pox vaccine) or proof of having the disease.

>>Parent proof of residency.  Listed below are acceptable forms of parent proof of residency: Proof of residency must include parent name and complete Pennridge residency address.  An Agreement of Sale or PO Box Numbers are not accepted.

Paycheck stub
Voter Registration card 
Post Office change of address card
Utility Receipt showing statements being mailed to new address

>>Parent Photo ID:  Valid Drivers License, passport, or PA Identification Card.
     
Other items that may be required for registration if applicable:

All secondary level students grades 6-8 must have a recent report card, grades 9-12 must have a current transcript of grades.

Foster placement forms, guardianship paperwork or other custody/court documentation.
All children with special needs including gifted must have current documentation such as IEP/CER etc…
