Dear Student and Parents:
We are quickly approaching the time of year when Marching band season will come to an end and we can move indoors. Our competitive season of Indoor Guard and Drumline will be starting soon. We will have a general meeting/practice for students interested in joining the 2007-2008 Indoor Guard or Drumline, to review the rules and regulations, practice schedules, competition schedule, and start the season. Meeting/Practice dates are:
Guard: Tuesday, November 27th 6:30-9:00 Green Gym
Drumline: Monday, December 3rd 6:30-9:00 Band Room/Green Gym
This meeting is mandatory for any one interested in joining our indoor units. Please remember that you must have marched the full outdoor season in order to join the indoor units this winter.
Attached is a sign up form and Medical/Emergency Information form to be filled out and returned the night of the general meeting. Also attached is a Calendar of practices and the current list of competitions for your review. All Friday practices are for both the Indoor Guard and Drumline. Please be flexible, these times and places can change at any time.
Due to the limited amount of gym time that we are able to get this year we are asking that all members be at practice 10-15 minutes before the actual start time so that we can begin at the scheduled start time. We always make sure that you leave on time, so please be kind and make sure we start on time.
