The Pennridge School District, in partnership with family and community, will provide all students with numerous and varied opportunities to gain the knowledge and skill necessary to grow into healthy, productive citizens equipped for life-long learning.

In order to fulfill the above, the Pennridge Mathematics Program will enable the students to bring together both knowledge and the ability to think creatively and critically by having them learn what they need to know, how to make sense of it, how to transfer it to unfamiliar situations, and how to apply it to other curriculum areas.  Emphasis is placed on “doing mathematics” by experiencing, discovering and creating it through purposeful activities using appropriate technology.
