AP Physics C is a second-year course of physics that is calculus-based. The curriculum prepares you for the AP Physics C exams given on May 11, 2009. It is recommended that students have completed or are concurrently enrolled in Calculus AB or BC.

There are two parts to the course: Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism. You will receive a score for each part. Each part of the exam consists of 45 multiple choice questions and 3 free response questions. During the school year, you will have the opportunity to practice both formats. An equation sheet (with a limited number of equations) and a calculator are permitted only on the free response sections.

The class meets 8 periods during the 6-day cycle. Unit tests will be administered during double periods.
